@mattl a few hundred (or even thousand) users won’t change the status quo. Twitter has millions, we need something big to facilitate change.

@davewiner until an open social project is large enough to be able to negotiate interoperability we’re stuck with walled gardens.

@mattl identi.ca, sure, but who uses it? The problem is gaining wide support from the community and inter-platform interoperability.

@mrcorkster Dominion Power. They seem to be more on the ball. Though maybe upgrading from Wheaton to Vienna helps.
