@donkeymagic @richhiggins long tables aren’t necessarily a problem; but a table cell that doesn’t fit on a single page will kill a render

@benmcfc I don’t know that I’d call dompdf “quite poor” … still needs work, yes, but the upcoming release is coming along nicely.

@dakdad are you looking to fit text into a defined height+width? Might be able to do this manually utilizing the available #CPDF functions

@dakdad dompdf is focused on converting HTML, so the api is sparse; for that level of control you might try the bundled CPDF library

@garethpoole is the pdf generating and being reported as corrupt? there was a corruption problem win the alpha release of 0.6.0

@garethpoole which version? are the fonts you’re attempting to use listed in dompdf/lib/fonts/dompdf_font_family_cache? any sample html?
